JOURNALIST | HOST | SPEAKER

Hi. I’m Simone.

Simone Boyce is a correspondent at MSNBC, The Today Show and NBC News Now.

OK, ENOUGH OF THAT THIRD PERSON STUFF…

Somewhere along the way, my obsession with news evolved into my profession, and I’ve never looked back. After graduating from the University of Florida with a degree in Broadcast Journalism, I moved back to Los Angeles (where I was born) and got my start in TV as an entertainment reporter. As the entertainment anchor at FOX 5 News in New York, I executive produced a lifestyle series and earned an Emmy nomination for my reporting on the hidden roots of the underground railroad in Brooklyn and lower Manhattan. Now, I focus on politics, culture and breaking news. I reported from the front-lines of the largest wildfire in California history and the deadly Montecito Mudslides as a general assignment reporter for KTLA 5 News. At NBC News, I interview newsmakers, politicians, voters and the occasional celebrity.
